Our Superpower!
Community Meals
Bethel’s superpower is our community meals which are free and open to anyone. We have some great cooks, so the food is delicious, and the companionship around the tables is special as well. Connection is something we value and these are great times to do just that.
Each 5th Sunday we worship around the tables in our fellowship hall and follow our worship with a carry in meal. Sometimes we have a theme—like soup and sandwiches or tacos with all the fixins—and sometimes we just ask folks to bring a favorite dish to share.
We also have several evening meals throughout the year, like our Groundhog Supper (sausage and pancakes!) on Groundhog Day (Check out the article from The Columbia Missourian on this year’s Groundhog Supper) and our fall chili supper. We also have an annual picnic, which is September 29 for 2024. Watch for the signs on our parking lots and feel free to come join us. All are welcome! If you want to bring a donation to offset the food cost, you may, but is definitely not expected. Just come and enjoy!
